Watershed Academy Webcast Features “A Watershed Dialogue: How Can We Build the Capacity and Effectiveness of Watershed Groups?”
Join us on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 1 to 3 PM EDT for “A Watershed Dialogue: How Can We Build the Capacity and Effectiveness of Watershed Groups?” This webcast will feature an exchange of ideas on supporting local stakeholder efforts to protect and restore watersheds. Dialogue panelists include Don Waye from EPA, Wendy Wilson from River Network, Hye Yeong Kwon from Center for Watershed Protection, Christine Olsenius from Southeast Watershed Forum, and Glynnis Collins from Illinois’ Prairie Rivers Network. Each will discuss how EPA and other organizations are addressing the needs of watershed groups by providing technical tools and support to the local level and what more could be done. This is an opportunity for watershed groups and anyone involved in water protection and restoration efforts to share their views on how we can improve our collective effectiveness.
