New UWEX Lakes Director
Colleagues, As you know Bob Korth, Director of the UWSP Extension Lakes retired this summer. We just finished a search and screen to fill the position and I am happy to announce that Eric Olson (previously a staff member of the UW Center for Landuse Education) was offered and accepted the position.
Eric says “I look forward to continuing the tradition of protecting Wisconsin’s treasured lakes through high quality outreach and education. Every year presents new challenges, but there are also great opportunities to learn and share new ideas and reach more audiences.”
Eric will begin his new role as Director beginning Sept 20. Please welcome him to his new position.
