Call for papers, North American Lake Management Symposium, Nov 3-5 OK

Hi Folks!

Apologies for cross posting.

In case you haven’t seen this call for papers, the North American Lake Management Society is holding their international symposium in Oklahoma City November 3-5. The purpose of the Society is to forge partnerships among citizens, scientists, and professionals to foster the management and protection of lakes and reservoirs & their watersheds for today and tomorrow.  The organizers are hoping that there is a good representation of watershed groups attending and presenting. In following the exchanges on this NPS listserv, it seems to me that this conference would be ideal for showcasing your successful NPS efforts, or even discussing your challenges. The deadline for submissions is this Friday June 18, but I bet late entries are OK (no pun intended.) See below for a listing of preliminary topics.

For more information please contact the symposium chair: Julie Chambers; 405-530-8932

Looking forward to seeing you there & learning more about the good work you do!
